🏁 Women’s Group – Race Rules & Progression Format
🔸 Stage 1: Free Practice / Qualifying
- Total Racers: 11
- Divided into 2 Groups:
• Group A: 5 Racers
• Group B: 6 Racers - Each group participates in qualifying heats to record lap times.
🔸 Stage 2: Semi-Finals
- Top 2 racers from Group A qualify directly.
- Top 3 racers from Group B are selected based on average lap times.
- Total advancing to finals: 5 Racers
🔸 Stage 3: Finals
- 5 Finalists compete in the Final Race
- Top 3 finishers will be awarded podium positions
🏁 Men’s Group – Race Format & Progression
🔸 Stage 1: Qualifying
- All racers complete a 15-lap qualifying run
- Best lap time is recorded
- Determines starting positions for Quarter Finals (⚠️ No eliminations in this round)
🔸 Stage 2: Quarter Finals
- Total 4 Groups:
• Group A & B: 6 racers each
• Group C & D: 5 racers each - Qualification to Semi-Finals:
• Group A & B: Top 3 advance
• Group C & D: Top 2 advance - Total racers moving forward: 10
🔸 Stage 3: Semi-Finals
- 2 Groups with 5 racers each
- Top 2 racers from each group qualify for the Finals
🔸 Stage 4: Finals
- 4 Finalists compete for glory
- Top 3 finishers will be declared winners and awarded podium positions
🏁 Official Race Rules — Karting Championship 2025
1. All racers must wear helmets and safety gear — no exceptions.
2. Race groupings will be randomized at the venue before the race begins.
3. Participants must attend the pre-race briefing to be eligible to race.
4. No bumping, reckless driving, or intentional blocking — clean racing only.
5. Follow all instructions from race marshals and staff at all times.
6. Each racer gets 16 laps (bonus laps if time permits).
7. The top 2 from each heat move to the semi-finals.
8. The top 1 from each semi-final + best 2nd-place (by lap time) go to the finals.
9. Only top 3 from the final are awarded podium positions and prizes.
10. Organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant for misconduct, safety violations, or unsportsmanlike behavior.
